Foodie’s guide to Plymouth

At no extra cost to you I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post.

I have plenty of food allergies which can make travel a real pain. I also really care about what I eat, but I love food. Even if food doesn’t always like me. This makes me know a lot about places to eat around town. I am dairy free for health reasons, which can be the most trouble when eating out. I also have a peach allergy which is pretty easy to avoid.

For breakfast I have plenty of suggestions. My favorite place to go is Carmen’s Cafe Nicole. I love going to this place for breakfast. The service here is always great and very fast. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I usually get the coffee here, since they have almond milk I love it. The restaurant has great views of the harbor. I also really like Kevin’s for breakfast. It is a very relaxed place to go. It’s like going to a family’s place. I’ve also never waited for a table here. I like the coffee here due to having almond milk. One of my favorite things to get is the French toast. I prefer powdered sugar on my French toast. For fast food breakfast I really like two places. I like Wednesday’s for their breakfast meal. I really like the honey chicken biscuit, seasoned fries, and an orange juice. For Chik-fil-a I enjoy getting the chicken minis, which are chicken nuggets on biscuits too. I prefer them with honey too. Notice a trend? The breakfast meal also comes with hash browns and a drink too.

For lunch it really varies for me. I don’t enjoy pizza at all and burgers are a last resort for me. This causes some options to be very limited for me. Chik-fil-a is one of my defaults. I really like the meal there, which you can customize to your tastes. Sometimes I get the chicken nuggets with ranch sauce. I also get a deluxe sandwich with buffalo sauce on the side. I put the sauce on the sandwich and dunk my fries in it. The meal also includes a drink with it. I usually get lemonade or a Coke with it. I appreciate the cups that the drinks come in, they aren’t very flimsy and are reinforced too. Dinner or supper is another meal that can be very varied for me. Supper is what a lot of people around here refer to the meal. I picked it up from my family. Sometimes lunch is called dinner instead, which can be very confusing for people not from here.

I also really like ice cream even with my dairy allergy. It’s so worth the stomach ache to me. Ice cream and cheese are my weaknesses when it comes to my allergy. I really enjoy this new place around town, B’s Ice Cream. I haven’t tried a lot there yet due to it being new. I like the Fluffernutter sundae a lot. I’m a sucker for anything marshmallow.
