Living in DC

I lived in the city during my time in college at George Washington University. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I loved living there and exploring the city. I lived there for four years.
It was perfect for a college student. There was always something going on around town. If I was bored I could visit all the museums there and it was nice that many were free. That really came in handy for a broke college student.
I also regularly went to a trivia night every week. This was hosted at a bar so plenty of options for food and drinks. My friends loved having me on their team because I knew a little about everything. More than once I helped them win trivia night.
The city was very friendly to people. I never had an issue finding an apartment that was accepting of pets. This really came in handy having the two cats. Most places had garages and if they didn’t they had parking spaces. Sometimes you would have to pay more for a garage or a reserved spot for your vehicle.
The area was pretty affordable. I shared my apartment with two other roommates and then I lived alone. I never had any trouble with rent or anything extra for parking.
