Traveling with allergies
At no extra cost to you I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post.
I’m allergic to a lot of things. Such as dairy, peaches, penicillin, and bug bites or stings. The dairy and peach allergies are the most common and serious of my allergies.
I generally avoid anything with dairy in it. Ice cream and cheese are always going to be worth the discomfort for me. Somethings like butter or normal milk are not worth it for me, especially with the prevalence of fake butter and almond milk.
Traveling with allergies can be very hard for people. That is especially true for people with common allergies like peanuts. Many people can’t even breathe the dust or have any traces of it. This can make flights particularly dangerous for people with allergies.
I would suggest people with allergies know how to say their allergies in the local language. That will really come in handy, both in talking with the locals and in medical situations. If you do have an emergency you don’t need to think about words or what you want to say.
